Good Lord - who cares? All entertainers are essentially for sale to the highest bidder.
For the record - I also think it's an utter waste of money to pay an entertainer to sing at a private function. I'd pay Elton John to stay away from any party I threw.

I think it's rather funny that Elton John sings at Rush's wedding. It shows that a lefty will throw principle out the window when cash is involved.

Well, you know a lot of these money making celebs have gotten their balls crushed in this economy/stock market just like the rest of us common folks.
Could have been his wife's wishes for him to sing at the wedding.

Babs is expensive. I'm not sure even Rush can afford her voice.
I'm not sure her body is that expensive.
