It's not just members of the media standing up to support disgraced journalist Helen Thomas after her unscheduled retirement caused by anti-Semitic remarks she made on camera last week.

The rabbi that caught her disgusting comments on videotape and put them on the Internet has received 25,000 hate-email messages - and counting.

Hours after MSNBC's Keith Olbermann actually called Rabbi David Nesenoff one of his "Worst Persons in the World," CBS-TV in New York reported the vicious electronic attacks streaming into the rabbi's inbox like a "ticker tape" (video follows with partial transcript, h/t HotAirPundit):

Considering that she is a bigot, a racist and a jackass, I'd say she sent more than she ever received over the years.

I never understand the people who get mad at the messenger. The Rabbi did nothing wrong, he revealed the truth. He didn't force Thomas to say those things, he didn't trick or bait her into saying them. They were her words freely spoken. Why all the hate piled on the Rabbi? Would it be different if it was a Fox reporter revealing this or a CNN reporter (ok I had trouble not laughing at that last one) any way do they think it was a Jewish plot because the messenger was Jewish?
The lady is obviously a bigot.
