Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes

This is really sad. He was such a talented comedian and will be greatly missed. May God bless his soul and give comfort to those who survive him.

What a shock. When he went into the hospital the other day it sounded like "no big deal". This is really too bad. :(

Awww... I love Bernie Mac. So sad, he was too young.

Bernie Mac, a good man. He was more inline with conservative thought than most of his Black peers. More of a Bill Cosby type. His show, The Bernie Mac Show on Fox was pretty well focused on Conservative Family Values and the characters on the show were based on himself and his sister's family. He took and raised his sister's kids when she could not deal with a drug problem. Did a hell of a fine job from what I have read.
He believed firmly in "it's the bed you made, now lie in it." He also believed you could make that bed as fine a bed as you wanted. Like I said, he was a good man.

I never watched his show with any regularity, but it was a good show when he was on. He definitely was a good role model to the youth, and seemed to appeal to the younger generation. Very sad to hear he passed at such a young age, although I find it hard to believe he was 50 years old. He always seemed much younger than that.
Rest in Peace Mr. Mac.
