back to WW2. a little know story about a battle damaged B-17 named “Ye Olde Pub” & a Luftwaffe pilot named Franz Stigler. Stigler came across the Pub and had an easy kill. but did something even more courageous. he escorted the bomber back to the channel. and saved they're lives. a rare display of Chivalry in the air
