    We are stewards, not curators. You can manage that parking lot, you can put it to some superior use, or you can rip it up and graze sheep on it but it has no relationship to you. It doesn't care about you, it's not impressed by your efforts on its behalf, and it won't offer you any guidance, comfort, or refuge.

    It's a patch of dirt.
