There’s a huge concern among conservative talk radio hosts that reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine would all-but destroy the industry due to equal time constraints. But speech limits might not stop at radio. They could even be extended to include the Internet and “government dictating content policy.”

If it's reinstated, here's what you'll see when you try to post anywhere:

"Thank you for submitting a post for this web forum. A Ministry of Fairness case worker will review your post in the next 10 working days. If approved, it will appear approximately 2 weeks after that. If denied, there is an appeals process, however with the current backload of appeals we estimate a 3-5 month waiting period for a hearing before a MoF magistrate. Thank you for your cooperation in making the media fair for everyone!"

Passing a law that restricted web content in such a way would be a serious blow to a politicians ego.... they would see they arent as powerful as they thought.

That will kill DU faster than a denial of service attack.

Doubtful, remember it will be the Libs controlling 'the fairness Doctrine' which means all leftist speak will get a pass, but tell the truth about a Lib or make them look bad and YOU will be censored
