The girls16 and under softball team from my home town play today in the final game of the sofball World series. HENDERSON-VANCE NC vs some town from Pa. play in Va at six o'clock today. GO GIRLS.

Congrats to them. My home town's Senior Little League team made it back to the SLL World Series. I love nothing better than watching kids who play the game. Their passion for it is special and not money driven. They play for the fun of it and the thrill of victory.

I used to coach Little League. I loved coaching. But the parents drove me to quit.
