#1 The stunning decline of Barack Obama
08-13-2010, 09:17 AM

The last few weeks have been a nightmare for President Obama, in a summer of discontent in the United States which has deeply unsettled the ruling liberal elites, so much so that even the Left has begun to turn against the White House. While the anti-establishment Tea Party movement has gained significant ground and is now a rising and powerful political force to be reckoned with, many of the president’s own supporters as well as independents are rapidly losing faith in Barack Obama, with open warfare breaking out between the White House and the left-wing of the Democratic Party. While conservatism in America grows stronger by the day, the forces of liberalism are growing increasingly weaker and divided.
1. The Obama presidency is out of touch with the American people
2. Most Americans don’t have confidence in the president’s leadership
3. Obama fails to inspire
4. The United States is drowning in debt
5. Obama’s Big Government message is falling flat
6. Obama’s support for socialised health care is a huge political mistake
7. Obama’s handling of the Gulf oil spill has been weak-kneed and indecisive
8. US foreign policy is an embarrassing mess under the Obama administration
9. President Obama is muddled and confused on national security
10. Obama doesn’t believe in American greatness
There is a distinctly Titanic-like feel to the Obama presidency and it’s not hard to see why. The most left-wing president in modern American history has tried to force a highly interventionist, government-driven agenda that runs counter to the principles of free enterprise, individual freedom, and limited government that have made the United States the greatest power in the world, and the freest nation on earth.
This, combined with weak leadership both at home and abroad against the backdrop of tremendous economic uncertainty in an increasingly dangerous world, has contributed to a spectacular political collapse for a president once thought to be invincible. America at its core remains a deeply conservative nation, which cherishes its traditions and founding principles. President Obama is increasingly out of step with the American people, by advancing policies that undermine the United States as a global power, while undercutting America’s deep-seated love for freedom."What this country needs are more unemployed politicians."

The libs are finally discovering that just become someone can ably read eloquent speechs from a teleprompter does not imply that the reader has any of the necessary attributes to be a leader.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I don't see left-wing liberalism out of Obama as everyone claims. It looks like fascism to me.
I also don't see him as a "failure" either. It appears to me that everything is going pretty much as planned...
The largest corporate entities (banks, corporations, and insurance companies) have consolidated their monopolies, power, and influence like a motherfucker basically beginning with the full nationalization of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. And that started at the tail end of Bush's second term. Then came the financial collapse and TARP - they saw it coming folks, don't kid yourselves for two seconds. Everything just steamrolled from there.
The health care bill was written by the largest insurance companies - boy we really stuck it to them didn't we?
The banking reform bill was written by the largest banks - We really stuck it to them too by giving them more power than ever - almost unlimited power.
Brand "Obama" was a fraud from day one used to carry all of this out under "left" cover. Hope and Change is cruel hoax and a bogus sham.

Fascism is a form of leftist liberalism, don't let them fool you otherwise. The left likes to say that communism is far left-wing and facism is far right wing, and it's utter B.S. Under fascism the government has near complete control, since government power and control increases as one moves left across the political spectrum, it's easy to see that fascism belongs on the left.
"In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."

Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.

I agree with both of you... These phony political terms are used to 'muddy the waters' so to speak.
I'm frightened by what I see and believe we are in a LOT of trouble. Folks can give it whatever label they wish. The facts are the facts.

Since articles LIE, we'll see if Obama lies out of his own mouth.

In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.
In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.
