I don't see Snyder as a moderate, so much as he doesn't care about the bullshit and thinks that the Stem Cell research would be good for the state to bring in jobs. I don't agree with the research, however with the fact we have Ann Arbor and MI St that are part of a very big research circle within the Big 10 it makes economic sense.

He's a realist and wants to bring jobs back to MI, not a political hack like Cox and Hoekstraw
