How bad is it for democrats? Just look at Washington State

This is friggen great. Washington in 2008 overwhelmingly went for Obama. He beat McCain her by almost 18 points if I remember correctly. Washington has been a solidly blue state since 1992.

Now, fast forward two years. The democrats have saddled our children and grand children with a massive debt and deficit and could very well have destroyed our health care system as we know it today. Our unemployment is high and we are on the verge of a double dip recession.

The democrats are on the verge of losing a senate seat that they have held the last 18 years. Patty Murry, the forth most powerful person in the senate in our primary only garnered 46% of the vote. Dino Rossi, her challenger in November got 34% of the vote, Clint Didier got 12% and Paul Akers got 3%. Dino, Clint and Paul are all republicans. Their percentage of the vote, for you democrats who can't count, add up to 49% of the vote. US Senate race vote count

The blood is in the water.

US House District 2 is also in play as is US House District 3. Both of these districts are currently held by democrats.
