Another close call at the end of the game, though. The Penguins are a great team, it wouldn't surprise me to see them win next year.

Our parade is going to be 11:00 am tomorrow in downtown Detroit. All are welcome-it's safe, all the cops in town will be down there for the event to ensure it. Just remember that the mayor will likely speak at the rally in Hart Plaza after the parade, and no one really wants to see him in public, these days.

Where it belongs to be sure.

We had some bad storms out here, but at least they did a split screen with the game on one side and weather on the other. Unfortunately we didn't have any sounds of the game. Looked good tho.

Congrats to the Red Wings. I honestly couldn't tell who won the damn game, because the local NBC station was doing a split screen during the ENTIRE game, covering the weather, or lack thereof.:mad:

Close? More like extremely close. :D

That puck was thisclose to tying that game. I thought Pittsburgh waited too long to pull their goalie but that was some finish!

I disagree. Anyone who scores the Stanley Cup winning goal deserves to play as long as he can. :D

That's funny-one of the Wings scored a goal for Pittsburg in one of the earlier games.

The parade and rally are over, and despite the discussion on the radio about it this morning, it appears that the crowd did not boo Kwame, after all. He must have had his kids with him or something.
