The McCain campaign hosted "house parties" across the US tonight. We had an invitation to join fellow supporters at a cool place, Pujols 5, the sports bar owned by Albert Pujols, #5, St Louis Cardinals. It's in a place called Westport Plaza, a European appearing plaza with shops and restaurants surrounding various courtyards and fountains.
The special "guest" on the simulcast around the country was Rudi Guilliani. He took questions, then they had local pols talk.
It actually was fun and the place was packed. There were free soft drinks and free food---and Pujols has good appetizers.
They announced that McCain is up by SIX points in Missouri, one of the bellweather states. I saw folks that I've known from a previous life (before SR). They were all good conservative Republicans.
I'm glad they're getting organized and enthusiastic.
We now have our yard sign.
