#1 University of Baltimore to teach zombie classes09-08-2010, 11:25 AM...The classes - part of the English course - will involve watching 16 classic zombie films and reading zombie comics, before either writing a final research paper or scripting or storyboarding their own perfect zombie movie.
The course will be taught by zombie expert Arnold Blumberg, the author of 'Zombiemania', a book on zombie movies. Blumberg is also the curator of Geppi's Entertainment Museum, which specialises in American pop culture. ...
Will this be like Women's Studies? Useful only for a career in grievance mongering?
Equal rights for the Zombie-American Community now!! :D

Monsters have a very special place in literary and film studies. Zombies just rule in general too.

I thought they already had a liberal arts program? In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.
In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

Women's studies' classes are very useful, for the brave men who are willing to take them-the odds are that there will only be one man in the class, and 20 women. At least 5 or 6 of the women will be the kind who wear dresses and shave their legs and armpits, so even at that, the odds are good.

perpetually gone right by accident. It is a sort of atheistic optimism, based on an
everlasting coincidence far more miraculous than a miracle.”
