All this Finland talk is going to bring back Kekomen, or whatever his name was.

On a side note, Finland has 100% literacy rate? Really? There isn't a single person in finland who can't read?
I feel that once a black fella has referred to white foks as "honky paleface devil white-trash cracker redneck Caspers," he's abdicated the right to get upset about the "N" word. But that's just me. -- Jim Goad

They probably aren't counted since they would have gotten a learning disability label somewhere along the way. The Finns really are well educated though. They have to be since there are almost no jobs outside of telecommunications, IT, health care, or government.

lol this thread got moved because the people doing the ranking did not rank America as #1

This is an incredibly interesting graph that lets you compare many variables easily.

It also includes the methodology and explains how they obtained, analyzed, and displayed the data.

It just fails to look at real life in it's ranking. However, I'm sure you'd love living in a country that taxes you to support your local church parish. Really. :D:D

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

    meh..

    I agree with Djones points

Most small populated countries might have people that per capita are more happy than large ones. Why is that a surprise that people really don't like living on top of one another?
