This fourth world rat hole should never have been given the Games.

I have a hard time begrudging India this kind of event. For one thing, they are rapidly becoming a first world economy. For another, they share a border with Pakistan, which means that they are intimately acquainted with the Islamist threat that we face, and that makes India an ally in the Conflict Formerly Known as the Global War On Terror.

Personally, I think that every nation should fly their flag and walk around heavily armed, and let the vermin try something, but I also think that we need to start retaliating against nations that sponsor terror with more than just pinprick attacks by drones.

    Agreed

Do not ever say that the desire to "do good" by force is a good motive. Neither power-lust nor stupidity are good motives. (Are you listening Barry)?

But then we'd have to alienate the Saudis, and probably the Chinese. :p
