It's called being black by convenience, Cuesi. The worst part about Obama is that his mother was white, and he was basically raised by his white grandparents yet during the campaign, he referred to his grandmother as a "typical white person". Yes that statement was in no way looked at as racist.

Yeah, that is what made me think about the entire situation. . .he was raised basically in a culturally white world. I sometimes think the embrace and the view he has of his father is a compensation for making the inside match the outside. I wonder what I will do if I ever have children with the person I'd like to be partnered with (he's white,but liberal).

It's terminal. . .he's bisexual, just like me, so I don't see him changing his mind.

Why would I want to get involved in politics. I was a stripper. That's the closest I want to get to it.

Take a good hard look at how he treats his kids and the mother (s?) of those kids. That will give you a clue as to how he will treat you and any kids you too may have.
