4. over 100,000 stated on this letter
Make September 10th a day to change the world!

Dear Friends,

On August 1st, I delivered to Speaker Nancy Pelosi; a petition bearing the names of over 100,000 Americans that, like us, feel that the President must be held accountable for abusing executive power and disregarding his Constitutional obligations.

13. Signed. And got two of my coworkers to sign. One of whom I would not have guessed would do it.
She said she's sick of Bush's shit.

Tell everybody.

YOU HAVE TO TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THIS. IT'S GETTING NO MEDIA PLAY AT ALL.

Sorry for yelling, but so many people think there's no hope for impeachment that we have to let them know it COULD happen.

20. Don't take this the wrong way...Dennis Kucinich is the wrong face for the Impeachment movement
Let's first set aside the notion that most Americans want an Impeachment of the President. Yes, I know various polls have said that most people would support Impeachment charges if... but compared to what I saw in the Watergate days, this is not an issue that most people are concentrating on...there's the War, the economy, Health Care, Mortgages, etc....but if you are going to to proceed with an Impeachment effort, Dennis Kucinich isn't the person to lead the charge, any more than Bob Barr was a good face for the Impeachment of Bill Clinton. Both politically (too radical compared to most Americans), and quite frankly too "weird looking" (Kucinich's hair; Barr's mustache)

The Watergate impeachment succeeded because of two major forces. First was "Senator Sam" Ervin, Chairman of the Senate Watergate Committee, a brilliant legislator who could still pass himself off as a "country lawyer". His methodical investigation of the the issues allowed the second force, the House Judiciary Committee to take up the discussion of Impeachment charges with strong public support, and the efforts of Chairman Peter Rodino, Barbara Jordan and Father Robert Drinan in particular, none of whom came across as wanting to Impeach President Nixon, helped pass the ultimate charges which would, in the fullness of time, have resulted in the Impeachment and removal of President Nixon.

I know Congressman Kucinich has a lot of fans here but he does not present himself well to the average, non-political American. I don't advocate pursing Impeachment in the first place, because we all need to focus our energy on the November elections, but if you insist, find another leader.

hehe

35. I would disagree with the Dennis doesn't have the charisma,
presence or leadership part of that. If the media were doing their job and people would wake the fuck up and pay attention, it wouldn't matter who the messenger was or what he looked liked.

Unfortunately that's one of the major problems with people these days. They want glitz, glitter, and a gimmick before they're willing to open one eye.

Personally I find Dennis K. very handsome
Keep it going DUmp monkeys, chimpeachment is just around the next corner!!:D
