It's amazing how much he looks just like him (star of Fracture and The Notebook).

    Giants win!!!!

Congrats to the Giants. Well played.

And good on the Texas Rangers. If they can keep the core of this team together and tweak it a bit, they could be back next year.

Meh. I'm happy for Aaron Rowand and especially Pat Burrell who's career appeared to be over in May.

Even though I've been a Texas Rangers fan for 20+ years, it's very hard to dislike the Giants. Congrats to them, they outpitched & outhit the Rangers and probably outmanuevered them too. Well done, Giants.

Hey...where are all the guys that said the Giant's pitching 1.78 ERA in September didn't matter? ;)

    *crickets*

They blanked one of the best American league hitting teams twice.

    TWICE!

    Unbelievable!!!!!

    Congrats Giants...

The Giants were the Phillies from 2 years ago.

I don't know about that. The Giants don't exactly have a star hitter, just some very solid complementary pieces. The Phillies had/have Utley, Howard, Rollins, Werth....some definite star power there.
