Lol there's maybe enough guns in Texas for every person to have but certainly not every household has guns and ammo, this is Texas, not Sweden.

Would you consider Sweden a "liberal" country?
They require all adult males to serve the military and to have a government-issued combat rifle in your home with ammunition.
No one is trying to take their guns away.
