You've totally nailed it. I've been to Whole Foods in CT and elsewhere, and you're right ... the libs are so desperately earnest, "worthy", as I like to call it, when it comes to food shopping.

The stuff at WHM is good, but there is a definitely a holier-than-thou attitude amongst the clientele, for sure.

There are similar places in Central London. It's kind of funny/painful to observe.
