De Laurentiis was surrounded by family when he died Wednesday night at his home in Beverly Hills. LOS ANGELES -- Academy Award-winning producer Dino De Laurentiis, producer of "Serpico," "Barbarella" and "Death Wish," has died at the age of 91.

Don't forget Manhunter which is the original version of Red Dragon. Manhunter is a really underrated movie. It starred William Peterson of CSI fame, Brian Cox played Hannibal Lecter, Dennis Farina played Jack Crawford, and Tom Noonan played the bad guy. Oh, and Dino produced one tasty granddaughter.

I happen to like Flash Gordon, if you haven't noticed by my Avatar in the forum, and my other Avatar on my profile page. And Dune was a good movie as well. His movie of Barbarella could have used a different actress on the other hand.

I read dune and the movie stank sorry to disagree with you. They man who played Paul atrades (sp)? was a douche. Flash on the other hand had good music and the fight scene at the end was cool :D
