Having been tortured for years as a prisoner of war has been the key to McPOW's political career, no man has ever exploited it or cheapened it like you have my friend, no man.

And no man has ever turned his back on American prisoners of war as glaringly or ashamedly as you have mr. mccain, to agree with bush the torturer about the treatment of prisoners of war and the tossing out of the Geneva Convention rules of humane treatment of p.o.w.'s, you've tossed your own honor out the window.

Now your surrogates use this meme, with your approval, as an all purpose excuse for everything, just like bush does with nine eleven and his masturbatory wars, they use the POW meme to excuse your cheating on your first wife, they've used it to excuse your innumberable number of mansions. This cancels out any bragging rights as a so called war hero, and has morphed you into a war profiteer, the one thing soldiers hate the most.

Whatever honor you garnered from your service is now moot since you've become the bush family's war whore.

Shame on you Mr. McPOW, shame on you forever, you can never make it right, you've gone too far. Your naked ambition for power and glory is the only thing you exist for now mccain, you've even turned your back on every prisoner of war that ever suffered for America, and you've spit in their faces, and you have dishonored your own military service in the process, an unforgivable sin, so DON'T call me your friend.

    4. I sure hope some of the Obama people have located the other POWs
and have asked them how happy they were when John told them all those years ago...about the "cross in the dirt".. That wa surely a confort to his fellow POWs..to know that there was a Christian guard.. he DID tell them...right??right??

uh-oh..Solzhenitsyn hadn't written his biography back then..anyway.. I'd love to hear from them.,. It's odd that they have not been tag-teaming with Mccain..he was such a HEEEEro

    17. Do many former POWs
sell and sell and sell their story for some fleeting glory or their endlesss ego trip or some trophy job? Or hide behind it whenever a breeze starts to blow their way?

    I don't think so.

    You beat me to it!
Add to that the fact that even IF McCain had been focusing too much on his time as a POW (And I don't think he has been), at least he didn't do anything as blatantly hypocritical as how much Kerry betrayed his own former comrades by participating in anti- war protests upon getting back, publicly referring to them as 'War Criminals,' and openly working with the Viet- Cong to undermine public support for the troops through the aforementioned anti- war protests.

The DUmmies think that because of his torture at the hands of NVA interrogators, John McCain should be against torture or "spirited questioning" of prisoners. It is my opinion that it is because of what he suffered at the hands of our enemies that he realizes just what it takes to break a man. He was subjected to years of daily beatings and torture before he finally reached his breaking point and put out NVA propoganda. I have never begrudged him this. Everyone has a breaking point and his is way beyond where mine would be.

As I said before the election, Moonbats would shift their hate to McCain.
