    They seem to agree that the camera lens is what flipped.If the sun flipped poles that quickly the sun's gravitational surge would have been immense causing a huge ballooning in the solar winds.They'll have to wait for the real solar experts .

    Ok, I'm not saying that this is the explanation, but it might be. The sun has constantly churning flares and storms erupting in and out of the "surface" of its magnetosphere. It is not inconceivable that a series of such eruptions occurring in the right sequence and locations on the surface, as seen from the viewpoint of the camera, could produce the illusion that the poles had reversed when in fact they had not.
