Yes, I just like to have my OWN equipment. That's not so unusual.

They still make these pots but most are called graniteware or speckled-ware. They look slightly different but they are the same thing. Just Google it. ;)

Not at all.

But if you want a classic, you have to make compromises, especially when no-one makes it anymore.

I should know... I just paid $46k for a classic that no-one makes anymore.

I won't eat from it ... and I won't eat in it, either. It's that much of a classic, to me.

It looks like the West Bend slow Cooker I used for years. It was teflon lined and sat on a base. But that looks bigger than a 5 quart.
