I'll wage it's because they aren't too worried about all the lip service to real hope and change. lol!

Left and right solutions exists in ideology, but those solutions are a chimera when couched in American party politics.

Yes both parties are pretty much garbage.

OMG! What a revelation. The republican party admits it supports business, because in their opinion, what's good for business is good for the economy, and jobs, and everyone. What bastards!

But at least they're open about it. Dems like Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, Edwards, etc. Play this game like they're in it for the little guy. But behind the scenes, they take kick backs from lobbyists, get rich on special deals like cattle futures and scoff up money from special interests such as casino companies. They get special land deals, stock tips and favors from the same fat cats, but out of the other side of their mouths, they're always demonizing these same entities. They cheat on taxes, while they cry about the rich not paying their share. Do they really represent the "people" ?

    That's right.
In my opinion, the Republicans are worse when it comes to this, all of their policies seem to be written by and for big business. They openly and blatantly just ask them what laws to pass. I mean come on.
At least some Democrats at least pretend to fight against the big guys and support small businesses. Hell even Independent Bernie Sanders supports small business growth and fights tooth and nail against corporate dominance.
It wasn't long ago that all you liberal lemmings were getting all moist and gushing over O Blah Blah's "summit" with big business leaders--HA! Of course O Blah Blah was your hero and you were all for it. The fact that his "Business summit" was composed of Marxists and Union big shots wasn't a factor. Nope, silence from the lambs. O Blah Blah the inept could do no wrong. Now that Congress is ACTUALLY ASKING PROFESSIONAL SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMEN, it's a problem.

Not without dismantling the government as well. Reality is - dismantle government obstacles and handouts to the large corporations - you know the things that lead to the existence of these huge multinationals in the first place - and guess what would happen?

*sigh* The Democratic Party has been sucking the cock of big labor unions for decades. What is the point of this thread?
