At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

"Meat is a gross waste of our natural resources, a major source of pollution, and the main cause of the destruction of the earth's rainforests. Only a vegetarian diet is consistent with a sincere concern for the environment. If you care about the world we live in, recycling aluminum cans is not enough. A vegetarian diet is not only good for your health, it is good for the planet."

I'm not entirely sure how the calculation is made. At a guess, I probably got Gaia Love Points for recycling/composting, having an energy-efficient house, and buying "green" or used stuff.

So, like you I'm at 29.5 and holding. :p

I'll have the steak and then buy an SUV and drive it cross country for no reason while throwing recyclable bottles along the highway.
