I've never seen a lot of supposedly "popular" TV shows, and I don't plan on ever seeing them...

    The Office
    3 and a half men
    Shit my dad says
    American Idol
    Dancing w/ the stars

    and quite a few others.

What "popular" TV shows have you never seen?

I thought the same thing about The Office. It just looked stupid. Then I watched an episode when I couldn't find anything else. Now, it's one of my favorites.

Lost. I've never watched one minute of Lost.

All those plus Modern Family, Desperate Housewives. The last tv sitcoms I was ever interested in were Seinfeld and Everybody loves Raymond.
Everything is going for shock value today. Nothing much worth watching.

Almost all of them. I rarely watch TV. There's rarely anything on worth watching.

It means I miss whole chunks of popular references in conversation based on TV shows that other people watch, but that's all to the good.

If it is not sports, animal programs, movies, adventure programs or cable news, I don't watch it.

I don't watch any of those shows. I also don't watch Desperate Housewives, all reality shows except Celebrity Rehab, most sitcoms, and crap like Grey's Anatomy. I used to like Law and Order SVU (I like the cast best, of all the LO shows), but the subject matter got too hard to take. It's like work, only more intense because it deals with the police end of it.

I like Fringe, The Simpsons, Big Love and a few other shows. It's hockey season, so...
