27 degrees and clear on The Mountain. Clear but tomorrow or Tuesday we have snow in the forecast.

I looked at my desk this morning and thought of the thought of the day. My desk is messy. It has a lot of stuff on it. Mostly books but there is a weather radio, 3 small cigars, paper and notepad. Pens. A flashlight. A rolled up map of the Appalachian Trail. TV remote. Extra bulb for a flashlight. Headphones. TV remote. Coffee cup.

TOTD: your desk or worktable or your house/apartment/car in general: messy, cluttered, or clean and organized. Or some combination thereof?

    How neat are you?

The neat desk goes along with O's empty suit. :D

I swing between cleaned up for company and messy. But I have two tiny spaces for my "desk", a little folding table from Crate and Barrel for my laptop that holds only the laptop, mousepad, a cup and about a 6" wide strip on the left side of the computer. There's a limit to how messy it can get. I have about a 18" diameter small table sitting next to it, holding a lamp and phone. That's a bit messy, as I have a small stack of papers sitting on that.

like any frazzle-haired half-genius half-madman, my space is all mess.

At work I'm decently organized but my home-work space is eternally cluttered.

Mine is always perfectly organized. At work I get teased a lot about my 'systems'.
Everything is color coded and in very well organized folders and bins and drawers.
My boss can ask for something and I produce it right at my finger tips from my
command center chair. When I get way snowed under and things start piling up
on top of my desk, I have to stay late and get it under control or I can't function.
I'm the same way with my desk at home.

I know where everything is but nobody else would have a clue.
