And I said to myself, "shit, I never heard him preach about this." All I heard about in church was basically Republican talking points. You know, baby killin' homo-phobic bullshit. I read about a different Jesus...and the Old Testament has almost caused me to lose faith to be quite honest. So when I began to think for myself, the choice was clear. The sad news is, I have a good friend who was all about Obama and against the war and now he goes to Thomas Road Church and has McCain wallpaper on his My Space now.
