Your uncle, you and your family are in my prayers Hawkgirl.
50 is way too young to face this, but he is in God's hands.

We could say they are spending like drunken sailors. That would be unfair to drunken sailors, they're spending their OWN money.

    Praying...

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

His daughter is 24 and his son is 21. He has a 1 year old grand-daughter. He and his wife have been together since they were both 16 years of age. She is being remarkably strong, spoke to both of them yesterday and they are going to try one more drug that is supposed to cut off blood supply to the tumors. He is trying to be optimistic. They are going to a healing mass on Monday to receive the sacrament of Annointing of the Sick.(We are Catholic) He has an amazing will to live, despite the bad news he was given by his doctor. He has been through 5 skull surgeries to remove the lesions that have popped up within the last year. I'm glad I got to spend a week with him last week when he came to visit us. (We are in Florida and he is in NY)

He is the youngest of 9 children.
