Productive Pickle day!

I guess I'm turning into my grandmother with all the canning I've been doing! A buddy came over today and over Bloody Marys we did this pickle concoction that we like to call Hotty toddies! There are plenty o jalapenos in these to grow some more hair on my chest! Can't wait till tomorrow to try them out!

We started with some simmered and raw jalapenos and fresh garlic!

I wish I had the time to pickle....I would love to make my own fruit preserves some day...Do you do that too?

I remember my trip to visit family in Germany, everyone makes their own preserves....I'd love that, with a toasted english muffin.....
