Cancellation of Presidential primaries?

Primaries are basically a joke anyway.
If the political system is going to have primaries, which are not binding to the convention process, then they should all be on the same day or better yet, one week.

That little podunk states like NH and Iowa can hold such a large political sway flies in the face of the concept of an elected republican form of government as guaranteed by the Constitution.
