I've always loved wrestling, since I was a kid and used to go to the Jacksonville Coliseum every Thursday night. We'd watch Eddie (not Superstar Billy) Graham beat the odds and we'd all cheer!

When I grew up, I never outgrew my love of the show. My favorite of all time, of course, is The Nature Boy, Slick Ric Flair, the 60 minute man, styling and profiling, limosine riding, stud. Yeah, it's all fake, but what isn't? Britney Spears? Madonna? The Idiot Child President?

At least Slick Ric puts forward the virtues I believe in -- booze, broads, and rock n' roll. What else is there in life?

Oddly enough, the person I've met as an adult (at least one of them) who loves wrestling as much as I is the AAR Radio Host, Lionel. He grew up in Tampa, home of the legendary Gordon Solie, and knew Gordon very well. I envy his insights into the spectacle.
