A 20-year-old college student who made headlines around the world when she was hired as the police chief of a Mexican border town has left the job and fled to the U.S. after receiving death threats.
Marisol Valles Garcia left the town of Praxedis G Guerrero with her family after the threats from a 'criminal group that wanted to force her to work for them,' said a relative.....'She went to the United States along with two relatives and will seek asylum," the relative said, who wished to remain anonymous.

Prob. the smartest thing she did. Thought I read some where that the majority of her staff up and quit out of fear of the cartels in the area and she was left very short handed to alone.
If true, she is at extreme high risk of being violently raped and murdered for the job she does. Only way that area will become safe again is military intervention.Rest In Peace America
