It's clear that basic rules of civility are out the window. The Republicans will not negotiate with anything resembling reciprocity. Any time they come to the table at all, it's in bad faith.

That leaves us one choice - hit them in a way that forces them to respond. As I said in an earlier post, we must fuck with their money.

Which is why we absolutely must be talking about a general strike. The only question is whether the American people have the will to go through with a strike. If we do, we can win this war. If we don't our future is economic slavery. It's time to choose.

Then, we go out there, and we shut down everything. Like the French. Block the roads, block the stores, close the schools so people have to watch their kids. Shut down the buses, the trucks, the trains, the subways, the airports, EVERYTHING. Occupy major facilities like stores and factories.

And give the oligarchs a choice. Back down from fascism, meet our demands, or send in your thugs and shoot.

It's time we contemplate these things. If we don't, we will be slaves. That's the stark truth. Only through courage and solidarity can we retake our way of life that our ancestors fought and died for.

I'm familiar with Milwaukee, esp. the downtown area. Very heavy bus usage down town. Parking is ether expensive, or jam packed in some areas.

But you are right about one thing, those who use them are usually liberal. The heaviest in the downtown area come from the college area heading to ether the Grand Ave. Malll area, north toward the other college or to the train station.

If they do try and shut it down, they will really only be hurting them selves in the end.
