SR asked me to write this and to say hi from him. He just wanted to let everyone know that he hasn't been on since last Thursday, as he had a stroke Friday night on his way home from work.

He got out of the hospital Tuesday late afternoon and is recovering at home. He's walking and talking fine, but right now having trouble typing quickly and writing sentences, so I'm his official secretary. :D

It's been traumatic for he's way too young to have a stroke, but it's scary at any age. He'll be back very soon and has been reading CU. It was the first thing he turned to when he fired up his computer.

Sadly it's real. The only thing that keeps me from playing the CU daily trivia deal is real life. SR trumps trivia every time.

It shows you that strokes don't just hit you in the 70's or 80's. They can get someone in the early 50's, too (or any other age).
