The damn tsunami washed the Wisconsin union busting story right off the headlines It's all a terrible tragedy and my prayers go out to all who are affected, but SHIT.
Sometimes reality sends us a sign that the petty concerns in our comfortable, pampered lives might not really be that significant.

And sometimes we just don't get the message.

    8. If the earthquake/ tsunami hadn't happened, then the top story would have been.....
the cops raided Charlie Sheen's house last night.

I really don't know how anyone can not be sympathetic to the suffering in Japan. The last I saw, there were around 10,000 people missing, hundreds of bodies washing up on the beaches and total devastation of some of the communities. Not to mention the possible nuclear plant problems. I'm a union member who likes her pension and all, but I really don't think that the issues being dealt with in Wisconson come even slightly close to the tragedy of this natural disaster.

Charlie Sheen is doing a comedy appearance at the FOX theater in Detroit in April. The tickets sold out within a couple of hours of the announcement. Somehow, I think Charlie will survive his firing in a career and financial sense, although his habits could kill him. I have a lot more sympathy for the people of Japan.

Yeah, it's a shame that all of those innocent people had to take the bleatings of a group of self-absorbed union hacks off of the front pages for the moment. How dare they? ;)

Charlie is living his own personal tsunami.

Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!
