Whats better?

I want to buy a 50 inch TV but I dont know if I want a Plasma or LCD, what kind is better? and what level of Hz (i.e 600hz) is best?

anything over 40inches you want plasma, LCD are getting better, but Plasma is still better over 40 inches.

I hear LED's are not very good but I havent really looked at them
