Now wait - you left Carter out. He should be there at the bottom too.
Coolidge is very much misunderestimated.
Very much so. If only he spoke up more... :D
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is hard business. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." Rudyard Kipling - (1865-1936)
Don't really see how Carter is comparable with either Roosevelt.
Say what you want about their domestic policies, but at least both Roosevelts were incredibly popular in their times and weren't weak, and didn't spend their lives bashing America. You can disagree with FDR's policies, but at the very least, as a leader, he brought the nation out of it's despair and was a comforting voice for Americans, whereas Carter was Debbie Downer.
I don't give a flying rats ass if someone is perceived to be popular when they are operating the government in contradiction to the expressed intent of the constitution. The Roosevelts, LBJ, Wilson, and Carter are all to blame for the state of affairs in the world today and the for the majority of the abuses perpetrated on us by our own government. Additionally - all of the aforementioned were/are progressives to conduct themselves sure in the knowledge that they know better than the rest of us how we should live our lives. Finally - the 5 with the addition of Nixon are almost single handedly to blame for the national security problems this country faces.
Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.
