Apparently, the Justice Department is going by George Orwellís famous Animal Farm ending: ďAll animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.Ē
    SNIP

Last week, President Barack Obama addressed an anti-bullying conference with First Lady Michelle Obama at his side. The administration's anti-bullying campaign has been ongoing since the beginning of Mr. Obama's term. The Department of Justice announced in December 2010 its intention to hold liable school districts that fail to protect students that are bullied.

    DOJís website states:

The Civil Rights Division and the entire Justice Department are committed to ending bullying and harassment in schools, and the video highlights the Departmentís authority to enforce federal laws that protect students from discrimination and harassment at school because of their race, national origin, disability, religion, and sex, including harassment based on nonconformity with gender stereotypes.

    The statement later says:

The enforcement of the Equal Protection Clause, Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 in school districts is a top priority of the Justice Departmentís Civil Rights Division. Additional information is available at the Civil Rights Divisionís Educational Opportunities Section website at www.justice.gov/crt/edo/.

Here is the catch. DOJ will only investigate bullying cases if the victim is considered protected under the 1964 Civil Rights legislation. In essence, only discrimination of the victimís race, color, religion, sex or will be considered by DOJ. The overweight straight white male who is verbally and/or physically harassed because of his size can consider himself invisible to the Justice Department.

The Justice Departmentís anti-bullying initiative is tantamount to bringing hate crime legislation to the public school system. Obviously, not only is the heterosexual white male student out of luck but inner city minority students lose out in this deal too.

If a schoolyard bully is a straight black male and his target is another straight black male where does that leave the victim in the eyes of Attorney General Eric Holder? What about two female students of the same sexual orientation and race? Is the victim in the latter situation considered to be less equal in the eyes of Obamaís Justice Department than a minority student who is picked on by a heterosexual white male student with no disabilities?

Unfortunately, the Justice Department is politicizing its priorities yet again. One must wonder why the administration believes it should be micro managing local school districts bullying problems. When the Justice Department is more interested in making ideological statements through seemingly sugar coated campaigns, no one should feel protected

You know, at one time I thought black people were actually nothing like thier stereotypes. now I cant think of a stereo that isnt fitting. I used to think that incompetent black governt was limited to Africa and it was cultural and tribal. now it has become painfully clear that it is DNA based. Some people are not equal to the tasks that other humans are capable of. You know, like holding a job, being around as a father, being president or attorney general.

Stereotypes are usually based on some fraction of the truth, but usually the lower end of it.
I remember hearing a lot of them about those with a Hispanic, Latino, Mexican or others who's origin was south of the border when I lived in Phoenix for a while. Are those true as well?

I remember one joke in particular.
Only in Arizona are whites and blacks united in a common goal... get the Hispanics back to Mexico where they belong.

He is out of line there , no doubt about it. He must not be getting enough attention lately.

Sadly, most of the really destructive bullying is in-group bullying. Girls on girls, jocks on lesser jocks or jock wannabes, blacks on blacks, etc.

When you get attacked, verbally or physically, by an outsider to your own perceived group it's bad but not even close to being as bad as it gets from insiders.

As usual, the government is enforcing a solution to a problem they don't clearly understand. :(

Care to site an example of a previously white ruled country in Africa that is now a rousing success under Black rule? Am I wrong in saying that Black men are absent as fathers a hell of a lot more than whites or latinos? Am I wrong if I mention that blacks are more responsible for the murders of other blacks than whites have ever been? If I say that more whites are murdered by blacks than anyone else in urban areas, am I wrong? Am I wrong when I say that the most incompetent President we have ever had is Black? Please, show me with facts where I am wrong? I am sorry, but speaking the truth does not make it untrue because someone's feelings were hurt.

Painfully clear huh? The only thing that is painfully clear is how ignorant you are.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

Well there has to be some connection. Black politicians in Africa are completely incompetent. Barky and Holder are also. No one ever sent our country down the crapper at African speed. Not even Carter. But Obama did. Must be some connection.

Because you're saying these problems are DNA based rather in based in a liberal, daddygov't culture of dependency and victimhood.

My parents came from Jamaica with little but their wits, a minimal amount of education and they made a life for themselves here. And it's not just them. It's entire swatches of people in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale/West Palm, NYC, Philly, and elsewhere. They come from Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad and the UK. Was their success in their DNA, or was it something else? I submit that is isn't. I may not be as educated, but I am not taking more from society in the form of fatherless children or a rampant drug problem. Is that in my DNA or how I was raised? That is where you are wrong.

Hence my , "Excuse me?" . . .Where they do THAT at? My feelings aren't hurt, I'm more disappointed from someone whose own criminality-and-aintshytness could be brushed off as in their DNA; unfixable. But I'm a Conservative. I don't do that shit.
