I'm a military man, so I generally go clean shaven. When I'm on vacation though, I just let it grow. I'll chop it all off when it starts to get scraggly (usually about a week), and let it grow again until I gotta go back to work.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

I love a neatly groomed 5 o'clock shadow. Not sure the technical name for this style, but my husband used to wear his this way before he enlisted. Rugged and sexy IMO.

Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

It depends on the man some look great with facial hair some don't. Then there are some that should have it for their face to cover it up:p

I think a lot of men look fine with facial hair (not stubble) but for romantic purposes, I prefer clean shaven. Beards have their own problems when it comes kissing and nothing is worse than trying to get cozy with a man sporting several days of stubble.

It looks terrible and it feels much worse.

No need to hide perfection with facial hair.

my wife hates my facial hair, but I hate shaving so generally I end up going back and forth from being clean shaven to having a beard...I look the best with a 5 o'clock shadow but it grows so slow it takes 3 days for me to have one :(

So do you have a full beard or just a goatee? :p
When the delegates emerged from the Constitutional Convention in 1787, a Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got?” Franklin replied, “A republic, madam, if you can keep it.”
