Love him to pieces, but he still thinks he is ... and participates in sports, as if he is still 18 years old.

Old "jocks" never die ... they just snore away when they think you are not looking! Ha! Ha!

Question how many in here are in their late 60's?

I am 69, absolutely still with it mentally ... watch my weight ... love politics ... am a "news groupie" ... can't type worth diddly using only 2 fingers ... and in general, love my life.

Why can't men at least try to age gracefully, huh?

Depends on how much energy the man has left ... after all his tennis, golf, jogging, and taking our dog out for a 3 mile run most days etc.

Know lots of tricks when needed, but also know when is a waste of time to try "flogging a dead horse!" :eek:

Weekends, if not going out or having folks over ... is when he does his *best* flaking out!

Yes, we are retired. Back in 1998 to be exact. Were fortunate enough to retire early, while still young enough to enjoy it. Still are enjoying it actually ... when able to keep the man awake at night, that is! :)
