    Cheating and/or being cheated on.

    Lust

    On the other hand, Top 40 is about:

    Getting high and/or drunk

    Cheating and/or being cheated on.

    Lust

    Conservative? Sure, on balance. At least most of the words are pro American. I can't think of a tune that is anti-American.
