I have seen this crap talk across the internet that Hillary supporters are voting for Palin because she is a woman...that they "have lost their minds." It is interesting to read the responses from Hillary's supporters. The Obama camp must be smoking crack. It is a slap in the face to all women. Of course the looney left would cry racism if people said a lot of blacks are voting for Obama simply because he is black.

This is a true eye opener for democrats.

Seems the Palin pick stopped B0’s bump from the convention

has possibly stunted any Obama convention bump, the latest Zogby Interactive flash poll of the race shows.

The latest nationwide survey, begun Friday afternoon after the McCain announcement of Palin as running mate and completed mid-afternoon today, shows McCain/Palin at 47%, compared to 45% support for Obama/Biden.
    Palin dramatically increased mcCain’s support

The interactive online Zogby survey shows that both Obama and McCain have solidified the support among their own parties - Obama won 86% support of Democrats and McCain 89% of Republicans in a two-way head-to-head poll question not including the running mates. When Biden and Palin are added to the mix, Obama’s Democratic support remains at 86%, while McCain’s increases to 92%.

Yes, his whole campaign has started a downward spiral. All of the glitz did not help with the usual bounce one would get after a big rock star spectacle like was produced at the Dem convention.

Most of the Hillary supporters were Indy leaning conservatives anyway, it stands to reason they would want Palin. Another point, Palin is prettier than Joe Biden.

Palin helped a lot and was a smart pick, but Obama is still the favorite for this election. Depends how things roll out from here on...

When I was in prison in Arizona, there were a lot of Apaches there. I am talking ALOT of Apaches. They did two things. They either ran around on the track all day or they played basketball. In basketball they were not very fast, only average shooters (if that) but they had great endurance and based their game around that.

They had a fast break game. Get the ball, run down the court and shoot. Every game worked out the same way, especially against Black teams. The black guys would beat them down the court and slap the shots away or pull down the rebounds (Apaches can't jump any better than white men). This would allow the Black dudes to build a big lead. But after a quarter or so of charging up and down the court, the Apaches' endurance would start making a difference. They would not get beat down the court anymore. They would whittle away at the big lead and usually win. The only way to beat them was to have a big lead early before the game headed down the stretch. If you did not have a big enough lead, it would not hold up.

Obama has not built up a big enough lead and the stretch run has already started.

This is a Zogby but interesting

Zogby Poll: "Brash McCain pick of AK Gov. Palin neutralizes historic Obama speech, stunts the Dems' convention bounce . . . The latest nationwide survey, begun Friday afternoon after the McCain announcement of Palin as running mate and completed mid-afternoon today, shows McCain/Palin at 47%, compared to 45% support for Obama/Biden. In other words, the race is a dead heat."

True - this is NObama's election to lose.
Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.
