damn straight. If the assholes in Iowa and New Hampshire and the other early states - especially those with open primaries do not let me vote for my candidate of choice - then I will vote for whom ever is the better candidate - and compared to Barry - SATAN would be a better candidate.

I'll vote for the candidate with the most conservative record/credentials - which surprisingly enough will most likely happen to have an R next to his name.

Huckabee is a populist - he is NOT a conservative.

only thing conservative about him is his support for the Fair Tax. Can't stand the guy.

I have to say that the field is pretty pathetic at the moment. I hope there's a dark horse out there somewhere.

I wonder if we shouldn't just focus on building a veto proof House and Senate and let Barry have the White House for 4 more years. I see some possibles in that list, but can any of them win?

Personally, I like Gary Johnson. Granted, he's more Libertarian than Republican, and I'm not crazy about some of his ideas. He did a fine job as Gov here in NM. He left the state solidly in the black with a big surplus, cut taxes and govt, was responsible for our concealed carry law.

But, how many nationwide have ever heard of Johnson? And a few of his libertarian stances won't go over very well.

If they can find another candidate with no past I don't expect them to run Bama for a second term.

Run someone who believes in sound fiscal policy, who supports small business (including single payer health care) , who isn't a jackass or a religious zealot and who supports deporting the illegals and I will vote for him.
