Yes and no. He no longer has any campaign headquarters, and no staff any longer. His "Headquarters" he unveiled today at the speech, is like Sara Palin's, where he goes to write, and influence those interested and aiding.
In addition, he said in the coming weeks he will be throwing his support behind one of the others running. Not some thing you say if you intend to get back in it.
He's done, sad to say, he won't be back.

Some thing else I want to point out.
There is a reason politicians "Suspend" their campaign, opposed to terminating it. It all has to do with the FEC rules regarding campaign contributions.
My understanding, and I might be wrong on this. When you terminate a campaign you are no longer allowed to collect donations. All debts must be settled, and all left over money ether returned to donners, or the proper paperwork filed to allow you to transfer it to another campaign your running for, for example, running for the Senate. But in doing so, you must have the permission of those who donated the cash.
But by suspending it, you are still allowed to continue to collect donations if you seek to run again in the future.
Case in point. Hillary Clinton suspended her bid for office back in '08. But she to this day is still collecting money for her campaign because she suspended it.

I wish more people would listen to this clip. I'm so sick of these politicians---Romney accusing Gingrich of eliminating child labor laws.'
If kids in some of the poorer neighborhoods had the opportunity to work little jobs in the schools and actually learn, that would be a good thing. We all have to really dig to get the truth behind the jabs thrown at other politicians. No one lies like a politician. :eek:
