I bet this is who Daniels has been waiting to see if they run
Updated to remove Barbour.
Wei, the reason the U.S. doesn't have Labor or Communist parties big enough to make any impact on political courses is simply because those views aren't wanted in the United States. There wasn't a purge or some sort of government conspiracy to silence these voices, there were incidents where left wing wackos like the Weather Underground actually committed a crime, but there was no conspiracy to silence these voices.
When you talk about a propaganda campaign against left wing ideology, wouldn't the left wingers have been able to supply their own counter-propaganda if they had enough support? Communism and socialism have no home in the United States. Our country is founded on the principle of keeping the government out of our life, our business, and our pocketbooks. That is why the far left wackos had to infiltrate the Democratic party, and use labels like "progressive" or "liberal" in order to blend in with moderate democrats. Now the entire Democratic party is way too left wing for mainstream America, and America is rapidly declining because these far left wing ideologues disguised as Democrats are pushing their agenda onto a system which isn't designed to handle it. What the new "progressive" or "liberal" far left invaders of the Democratic party are trying to do the American system is like herding cats or walking up the down escalator.
Obama is far left in ideology. The only saving grace is that those who surround him and actually make the laws are, for the most part, no longer in that same boat.
It is still early. Comparisons made to 2008 in the media are not valid in my opinion because of there being an incumbent. I would look at the 2004 race and when people entered.
I think Daniels may still be talked into it. The Fox Limbaugh media needs to stop pining for Christie.
