    Here is a link to the recipe. It takes forever to make, but holy crap!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the best!!!

    PS - You can't really taste the wasabi, so dont let that fool you.

    Not sure, but I am guessing it is used for a chemical reaction - a base to offset the acids, perhaps?

    My mom uses coffee in her chili also. Hers is always day-old, but she swears by it.
