The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

Rock would have to get someone else to run the backhoe to bury him up to his neck to pull that off.

Wouldn't that mean he would have to have a friend?
Mods (even superdupermods) don't have friends, they have groupies.

Back on topic---try to shop at smaller, local stores. I'm saving almost half the grocery bill by going to the Amish stores here.

Another tip, if you smoke, don't. Think of all the money you'll save. :D

I make regular trips to the Dollar/General Dollar store. Walleymart has raised their prices on quite a few items and are actually higher than smaller stores.

You're right. Just because an item comes from a store that's supposedly low priced doesn't mean many of the items are really priced lower than elsewhere.

Case in point, I love Costco but sometimes they and the other big box stores are significantly higher than smaller places. It's lucky I have a stupid photographic memory for prices.

Just returned from my weekly trip to the Amish stores. I got more of the some peppers, mushrooms, cheese, zucchini, strawberries (2 quarts), blueberries, onions, rolls, horseradish cheese, sliced turkey, bananas and much more, all for about $30, enough for the week. It would have cost over double that at the regular stores, plus this is all fresh from the local farms or from Ohio.

The question we have is it better to save that amount instead of paying off the house over that time and make the decision to sell or pay off later?

Always keep in mind that if something horrible happens, like you lose your job or fall into ill health, a house payment is VERY difficult to make.

Being out of debt is the most liberating thing you can do.
