Egging was frowned upon in my neighhborhood, because it was hard to wash off. Toilet paper was the approved venue for teen vandalism, and occasionally, soap.
Still, the kid didn't deserve to die for his stupidity. A warning shot should have sufficed.
I have a different opinion of rock-thowing, because when directed at moving cars, it can lead to deaths. When dropped off a freeway overpass, it can lead to lots of deaths.

My egg-throwing kid did 2 years Army Infantry, went to college with his GI bill, has a wife and a 1 year old daughter, and is now re-enlisting as an officer.
Get real, people...kids do stupid things no matter how great their parents are...and most go right on to grow into decent people. Sheesh.-
In actual dollars, President Obamaís $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. Itís no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.
Under Obamaís own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.
